Nepalese Library

Nepal is one of the poorest countries in Asia, the level of education is low and many remote villages only have difficult access to information and knowledge. This is why for the last 2.5 years, a group of Swiss volunteers have been working together to open a library in the countryside of Nepal, in a small village called Koramukh. With this library they want to make it possible for more people to have access to books and knowledge. After gathering funds, books, and sorting out the shelves, there was one thing missing: a pop of colour on the library's outside wall! This is where I jumped in – it was amazing to be part of this meaningful project.
